A place where we are free to explore.
Our interns are members of a high-performing team where responsibility, collaboration, and work ethic are the standard. Every voice matters, thoughtful feedback is expected, and mistakes are viewed as opportunities to learn—creating an environment where students grow in confidence, develop leadership skills, and achieve more together than they could alone.

Founded at Nova Southeastern University in 2001, the Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation (CKSF) began as a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating scholarship and educational opportunities for students. From developing the nationally recognized FBI Safe Online Surfing program to partnering with university students on real-world projects, CKSF has continually evolved to meet the changing needs of students. Today, we focus on providing exceptional student experiences through internships, research, and applied AI skills—helping students build the confidence, leadership, and professional experience needed to succeed in college, careers, and life.

Since its founding in 2001, the Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation has awarded more than $400,000 in donated scholarship funds to help students pursue their educational goals. Over the years, CKSF developed a unique scholarship model that rewarded students for what they knew about specific academic and educational topics, encouraging learning, curiosity, and achievement.
Today, our primary scholarship initiative is the Last Mile Scholarship, which helps determined students cross the finish line on their path to graduation. Rather than focusing solely on academic performance, the Last Mile Scholarship supports students who have demonstrated perseverance, commitment, and the desire to complete their degree despite financial or personal challenges.
At CKSF, we believe that talent and hard work should not be derailed by a final obstacle. The Last Mile Scholarship reflects our commitment to helping students reach one of life's most important milestones—earning a college degree and preparing for a successful future.
