EDUCATORS

CKSF is a member of the National Scholarship Providers Association and is administered at the Fischler School of Education and Human Services at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, FL.

What is the Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation (CKSF)?
Founded in 2001, CKSF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established to create innovative scholarship and educational programs for students of all ages.

At www.cksg.org, students compete for scholarships by taking internet-based, multiple-choice quizzes. Each scholarship consists of one or more quizzes with topics ranging from general "common knowledge" to specific academic subjects, books, websites, and even movies.

Who is eligible to participate?
High school, college, and graduate students are eligible to participate. Parents may also register and compete at CKSF to win scholarships for themselves or their children and international students are eligible as long as they live and attend a school in the U.S.

Why recommend CKSF to students?
Fun, Fast, Quizzes for Everyone
Unlike traditional scholarship programs, CKSF scholarships are designed to reward students who have well-rounded, practical knowledge, not just the strongest academic performers. There are no essays or long applications to complete and a single CKSF registration is good from high school all the way through college and graduate school.

Simple Process
Quiz scores are based on a combination of time and accuracy and at the end of a CKSF scholarship, the eligible participant(s) with the highest score(s) wins. Ranking and results are available on our site. Scholarship award amounts vary depending on the donor. Most awards are between $250 and $2,500 and may be used at any post secondary school in the U.S.

We Respect Privacy
As stated in the CKSF privacy policy, we do not sell, trade or give away student contact information. The information is held only to match students with scholarships and process scholarship awards.

CKSF does offer some special "Opt In" scholarships in which a student is clearly notified prior to clicking "I will Participate" that the sponsor is sponsoring the scholarship and requesting the contact information. At the "Opt In" screen we indicate who the sponsor is (generally a college or university). CKSF is very selective in the sponsors for whom we will offer an "Opt In" scholarship.
